LISE (List It Special Edition) is a powerful module with a wide range of applications. From simply storing and sorting item lists, to full module replacements, most power-users of CMSMS rarely build a site without it.
The following instances can be installed in LISE 1.4.2 or greater, and assume a basic familiarity with LISE and CMS Made Simple. Some Smarty knowledge will help, but support is available at our standard hourly rate if needed.
This LISE instance takes your imported data (csv file) that contains GPS coordinates and adds them to a map utilizing Leaflet, an open source JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps. In many cases it can be used as a lightweight replacement to the CGGoogleMaps module.
Included are a summary template for mapping the points, a category template for creating the group toggles (see layers icon at the top right of the map) and a detail template. Sample data and fields are also included, easily replaced with your own information.
Map pins include a popup you can customize with your own field definitions and html, including images. There are many more features available in Leaflet such as changing base maps, customizing pin icons, etc. These are not included in this instance but can easily be added by a competent developer.
This LISE instance is designed to get you started on a migration from the Company Directory (CD) module to LISE, or to start a new business directory.
Combined with following Rolf's excellent Migrating Company Directory module to LISE tutorial, you can make the switch easily, as all the standard CD fields are already created for you (with a few additional fields and some sample data to play with first).
The sample templates are designed with Foundation in mind, but can easily be adapted to Bootstrap or any other framework as needed. You add the styling.
Note: If you use Categories in Company Directory, it is possible to import them but it's outside the scope of this free sample and tutorial. Commercial assistance is available.

A lightweight alternative to CGCalendar, this instance uses FullCalendar to render a calendar with LISE items as events.
In its current state, LISE doesn't automatically prune past events, and backend event management is somewhat basic, so this instance is best used for sites without large numbers of events. It is designed to get you started with FullCalendar but will likely require some customization to fit your requirements. Some basic JavaScript and Smarty knowledge will be useful.
